A car jack happening to you might be very rare and might even never happen but you have to always be prepared for anything. Most people are carjacked when they are around/in their car. I will show you the methods thieves use against you. Also there is one other form of carjacking, just stealing an item like sound system, gps from the car.
#1 Method Accident
While on the road, generally a very deserted road. A man will bump it your car with his. Then get out and talk to you, he will try to pull you away from your car. Of course all your keys and car will be there. The man will have a someone else working with him, he will get in your car and drive off.
#2 Method Something Wrong
While you wait for the lights, a man will approach from the side way. And claim something is wrong with your car ex; your lights, tyre. You get out and have a quick look. And at that moment the man will enter your car and run away.
#3 Method Assault
Straightforward this one, if you look like a tough guy they will hesitate. If your an old woman or just a woman they might target you more than others. Not much you can do, if you really love the car and it’s worth money and much more to you, try to pull forward. I’d advise you to worry about your life and not an object.
