Even though this was the biggest night for country music, there were some country music singers and guests that were dressed to impress and there were some that looked like they had just crawled out of bed. It is my job to inform you of the best and worst dressed at the 43rd Annual Country Music Awards.
Carrie Underwood, the nominee for top female vocalist glittered and sparkled in an elegant gold flapper frock with matching shoes upon her arrival in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The expectant mother, Nicole Kidman revealed and flaunted her growing baby bump, wearing a simple cocktail dress designed by Yves Saint Laurent, while Keith Urban, her main squeeze donned a khaki spring suit. It is so impressive how mothers look so outstanding during their pregnancy; Nicole is glistening with sincere happiness.
Taylor Swift, at the young age of eighteen years old was more beautiful than a princess in her sophisticated jewelry and her elegant strapless gown. One thing is for certain, there were certainly some prince charmings checking up out. Kellie Pickler wore a floor length gown that accentuated her itty bitty waist. She is truly an outstanding person. Leann Rimes, on the other hand, may have quiet possibly been the belle of the ball all dolled up in her perfect dress dipped in purple. It is quiet obvious that her husband, Dean Sheremet is one incredibly lucky man.
Even though, we all know and understand that Karolina Kurkova is one of the Victoria Secret Angels, and that she has legs that could just travel on for miles, her white and green ensemble was a little too short for the occasion. Sometimes, you have to let your reputation go and just dress for the part, you don’t always have to be dressed to suit your personality and reputation. As they made their very own appearance entering into the star-studded event, Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland shared a laugh, this truly reflected the happiness in the air.
It was certainly clear that Jewel brightened up the ordinary red carpet in her very bold and bright yellow dress, the wrinkly satin fabric really didn’t paint the prettiest picture. Has she ever heard of ironing clothes? At the event, Blake Shelton along with Miranda Lambert, his country cutie, made their point very clear that solo stars can make a mouth watering dynamic duo. Who would have ever guessed?
All in all, this event was a total success even though there were some appearances that were less than standard.
